Stëftung Hëllef Doheem Ticker on CORONAVIRUS / COVID19

Published on the 24.03.2020

The Luxembourg Government's decision to declare a "state of crisis" ("Noutstand") in Luxembourg aims to strengthen the means necessary to contain the CORONAVIRUS / COVID19 pandemic by further restricting the free movement of citizens to avoid contacts that could generate contamination.

The Government, by its ministerial order of 23 March 2020, instructed the help and care networks to restrict their activities to the strict minimum, i.e. to deploy its staff mainly to the most urgent and indispensable services and interventions. (Mémorial A, No. 177 of 23 March 2020).

In the meantime, we have informed every customer and the necessary services are provided by the Stëftung Hëllef Doheem. If necessary, contact is maintained with customers by telephone.

We would like to remind you that in the care of our clients, we implement all the protective measures foreseen by the Health Department.

To receive additional information about COVID-19, you can consult the website: www.gouvernement.lu.

If you have any specific questions, you can also contact the Hotline, under the telephone number 8002 8080, managed by the Health Ministry.

Thank you for your understanding!

Dear customers,

In the context of the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, we would like to inform you that in the context of the care of our clients, we have put in place all the protection measures provided by the "Direction de la Santé".

According to the instructions of the Ministry of Health, the wearing of gowns, gloves, masks and eye protection is only required in the event of direct contact with a COVID-19 patient or in specific care situations.

As an internal precautionary measure, we have introduced a systematic temperature reading before visiting and staying in one of our Day Centres, access to which is now reserved for the most dependent people.

Depending on the evolution of the pandemic, we may be obliged to reduce or even stop a certain number of our aid and care services. You will be informed in advance.

The necessary services will nevertheless be provided.

As for the preventive behaviours that you and your entourage can adopt, we invite you to consult the attached poster of the Health Department.

To receive additional information about COVID-19, you can consult the website: www.gouvernement.lu.
