The Stëftung Hëllef Doheem Foundation’s palliative care offering takes into account all the needs of ill people and their families so that they can live the last moments of their lives in dignity.
The foundation’s palliative home care team is made up of nurses and therapists who are specially trained in palliative care and pain treatment.
They have specific skills to offer the services required in numerous areas, including evaluating pain associated with drug and non-drug therapies and observing the related symptoms. The customer’s well-being is supported by complementary methods, such as the effect of touch, aromatherapy and various relaxation techniques.
Other activities offered by our palliative care team include taking care of and supporting people in the final stages of their life and their loved ones, providing palliative care for children and offering advice on questions regarding ethics or the "living will".
Close cooperation between hospitals, specialist doctors and general practitioners is crucial in order to ensure top-quality care.
